A legal battle over a road leading to the Finley River continues after an appeal was filed to close access again.
Christian County Court Judge Laura Johnson ruled in August 2021 the road to Lindenlure Dam should be reopened after it was closed in March 2020 when a landowner placed a blockade leading to the popular swimming hole. The blockade was later removed and many people have been accessing the swimming spot since.
