Steelers bench QB Mitch Trubisky, Mason Rudolph enters game

After throwing his second interception, and third in the last two games, the Steelers have benched quarterback Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph has taken over at quarterback.

Fans have been clamoring all week for Rudolph to start, and he enters the game as the Steelers trail 27-13 late in the fourth quarter.

Trubisky went 16-of-23 for 169 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Both of his picks were intended for George Pickens, the second of which was completely air-mailed over Pickens head on an in-breaker over the middle of the field.

Rudolph was drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
